I wanted to try T-Mobile. I briefly saw an ad that said you could try T-Mobile for 30 days without commitment. I called sales to ask about this. They said yes, they would send me a SIM card which would allow me to test the service. To do this, I would need to provide all my information so that at the end of the trial period, I would automatically become a customer unless I canceled (pretty common practice). I was told that the 30 day trial period would not start until I installed the SIM card that they were sending me. I asked about 55+ plans and settled on the mid range $70/month plan for two lines. And finally, I asked about phones and was told that if I became a customer, T-Mobile would off me an i-Phone 14 “on us”. No mention of a trade in was made. This all occurred on Dec 26, 2022.It took me until January 10, 2023 to get ATT to unlock my phone (another story). So I installed the SIM card on January 10. To my surprise, I immediately received a text from T-Mobile stating

How do I remove the restrictions? I bought this phone from my hands 2 months ago, and I would like to untie it from your operator! My mail: firstname.lastname@example.org I'm waiting for feedback, thank you

Apparently with my phone screen “always on”, I don’t have to hit the power button to reach screen unlock. While it’s in my pocket, it will randomly touch my leg somehow through my pocket and of course, the “fingerprint” doesn’t match nor is my leg typing in the wrong code. So it does this over and over until I pull my phone out of my pocket and try to actually unlock it with my fingerprint. Unfortunately, because the wrong code or “fingerprint” was attempted too many times, my phone says “Try again in 2 hours 30 minutes.” Obviously, I know my code and my fingerprints are registered, but there’s no way I can find to unlock my screen other than ridiculously waiting the specified time. I’ve logged in to my online account, nothing I can find there to unlock it. I do have the. setting on to turn off accidental touch (obviously doesn't work well). Samsung Ultra S22, update current. Any ideas greatly appreciated!
Hi, I have an S21+that I got refurbished about a year and a half ago. The fingerprint reader hasn't been working well for a couple of months. It usually takes 2 or 3 tries to unlock. I tried recalibrating and also replaced the screen protector and it's still not working well. Is the phone deteriorating or is there something I can do to fix this? Thanks!
