Can anyone explain to me how the $830 trade in credit works when you upgrade your plan to the new 5G? Surprisingly, T Mobile can not and I still don’t know what they gave me for my trade in value but it wasn’t $830. The man in the store broke it down this way… pay taxes and fees on any phone, trade in eligible device, sign up for the New 5G rate plan and we deduct the $830 from your new phone choice. You pay the difference for 24 months. So for an iPhone 14 pro max with tax and activation paid up front, That leaves a $1099 for the phone minus 830 is 269. That is roughly $11 month for 24 months for the phone. So why is the monthly $20???
Hi, I wanted to sign up for a T-Mobile Prepaid eSim plan for my iPhone 13 via the app. This is for my upcoming trip to the US. I am in Singapore. However when it comes to the payment page, I do not see my country Singapore listed. Does it mean I am unable to buy this plan? I only have Visa/MasterCard issued by banks in Singapore
Hello. I currently have a prepaid plan. My phone is old and I want to upgrade. My friend wants to give me his old phone (which is much newer than mine) to use. It is compatible with t-mobile’s network as far as I can tell--Friend had a t-mobile plan but it was post-paid. How do I keep my existing prepaid plan, service, and phone number and move to using the new (friend’s) phone?
Hello,I have one question: I’m a German and I’m travelling to the United States in the summer. I want to buy a T-Mobile prepaid card but I’m not sure if I have to give any US-american contact numbers (like it is the case at AT&T and H2O).Is it possible for me to buy the SIM-card without giving any American information? Thank you for participating and helping me!Best regards
I will visit the US next week for 1 month as a tourist, I purchased the $60 monthly plan through the Prepaid eSim app on my iPhone 12 Pro, I completed the eSim purchase steps successfully, and when the app prompted me to activate the eSim I chose not to activate and dismissed that pop up screen, because I don’t want to start the plan now, I want to start it once I arrive in the US, I couldn’t find a way to start activating the eSim process again without having to call T-Mobile support number, which’s not possible for me, because international calls are too expensive (calling from Saudi Arabia) and I don’t have a different phone with a US number to call them once I arrive (tourists usually don’t have that choice). Is there a possible way to activate the eSim once I arrive in the US ?
Hi,I keep getting a popup error on the new visual voicemail on my motorola one 5G ace. It says “Activation Error” “Sesson Expired, please try again” and a button to exit or try again. Trying again is endless where it just keeps reopening with the same error. When I exit, it does the same thing several times until it works. Recently it didnt work and I had to just leave the app alone for a minute and when I went back it worked again. I was getting this error after a minute of trying to go through several dozen voicemails today and trying to clear them out. I had to exit and retry the app about a hundred times while going through voicemails. Please fix!
I just finished a holiday in Hawaii and got a T-Mobile prepaid plan. I am home in Canada now.Does anyone know if I can reuse this sim card in another year from?I will be going back to Hawaii and it would make it much easier if I could just reuse the sim and join in the same plan that I just had.Any information would be helpful. Thanks
I used a prepaid e-sim for a month when I visited the states last year and would like to do so again. How would I go about buying a prepaid e-aim again? When I access the e-sim app, it says “Use a valid e-mail not previously used”. Then, if I try to log into my t-mobile account, it asks for a t-mobile number I no longer have active.
Hi everyone,I’m looking to buy a prepaid plan via the eSim app for a six month stay in the US.I would like to purchase the plan ahead of time, so it activates on the arrival date and is ready to use when I land. As far as I can tell there is no way to set a starting date when purchasing the plan and it would be activated straight away. Is this the case or am I missing something? Other providers (like for example simly) provide the option to set an activation date. Otherwise I would have to deal with this upon arrival, when i have other things to do and need a working connection right away. Also i would like to know if there is a plan, which includes a flat for calls to Europe (Germany) or at least reduced international rates? As far as I can tell, there are only plans with flats for US calls only. Thanks for any help, best.
Is there a pay as you go plan of t mobile while I am in the us. I dont use the t mob internet nor its calling or texting much, mostly rely on wifi. Is there a plan, so that my number remains active and I can continue to receive text and calls, but dont have to pay for a full prepaid plan?
On April 1, 2023, I traded in an iPhone 11 for an iPhone 14. I did this through the Apple website because there was a $400 rebate. The Apple rebate was $180 and the T-Mobile rebate was $220, for a total of $400. The $220 was to be applied as a credit to my monthly iPhone 14 bill. Apple paid their $180, but T-Mobile refuses to pay the $220 credit. Their initial excuse was that they did not offer that rebate program. Then, they said that the rebate was only for business customers, so I was not eligible. Today, July 12, 2023, Apple told me that T-Mobile initially accepted the rebate, then rejected it because there were “Missing required carrier fields”. I don’t even know what that means. T-Mobile never told me this over the course of about 15 phone calls to them over 3 months. This is poor customer service to a loyal customer for over 5 years. I have referred many customers to T-Mobile over the years because of their quality of mobile service and customer service. I have spoken to s
In September of 2021 I paid off (2) iPhone 12s and traded them in for (2) iPhone 13s on the 55+ Magenta Max plans. They put me on the 30 month equipment payoff plan. Should I have been put on the 24 month equipment payoff plan? Now coming up to the iPhone 15 in September 2023, I want to upgrade to the 15. Do I have to pay off the remaining 6 months before I trade them in? Who gets 24 month pay off and who gets 30 months? My FICA score is over 800 and I am on the Forever Upgrade program.
Boy oh boy has it been a ride since T-Mobile bought out Sprint. First, we used to have fabulous service in our home (in the middle of nowhere) but the minute everything switched from Sprint to T-Mobile our service tanked. We now have to go outside or sit in exactly the right place to have any service inside. I’ve asked about it multiple times and they swear nothing has changed but clearly it has. Anyone else having this issue? Second, where on earth is the chat option? This is definitely my preferred communication method but it seems to rarely be available. I’m not sure why since often questions regarding cell phone accounts are pressing and need an answer quickly but I hardly ever have the chat option pop up. And last but not least, whew. We were definitely unprepared for the drop in customer service since the changeover. We’ve had Sprint/T-Mobile since 2006 and were, in general, pretty happy. We always had great customer service with Sprint. But with T-Mobile? Nope. Long story short,
I have a line that is currently on a Postpaid plan with Unlimited data, text and talk. The phone however is barely used with an average of 2-3 calls, no text and about 0.03 GB of data usage. I figure I could save a lot by switching this to a prepaid plan but I can’t figure how. There is no option to change it online so I assume I’ll need to call in but just wanted to see if anyone has successfully transferred from post to prepaid and if there are any concerns to be aware of. Thanks.
I have been a customer since 2017. I have been on auto bill and had no issues. Till we adding the internet. This is the worst spottiest internet I have ever had, slow, never had a high speed, and if you have more than 4 devices one of them is being slowed heavily. We're switching to Mint Mobile now, it's been the most painful process because how hard TMobile is making it to just transfer my number!! I've been waiting for the transfer for 5 hours now, been in the 'live chat' for a few hours, and can now say I've been on hold for an hour now!!! This is ridiculous. Please, please release my number or help me at all? I'm so done with this company. I had no idea it'd be this hard for them to simply release my number.Glad to see you love and care of customers so much too. Great way to be treated just on hold.... With this terrible sound quality.
I am a foreigner. I will travel to US in September. I plan to buy a T-mobile prepaid sim card. I see all prepaid plans are monthly plans. Can I ask the store staff only open a month for me? Or it has to be an auto renew monthly plan and I can only cancel it myself at the end of the first month? Or can I suspend the number without any fee and re-activate the number when I travel back to US in the future?
If I’m exisitng customer and I want to transfer one line from Verizon and I have a financed phone with Verizon is this possible to get $800?I wanted to trade in Verizon phone to T-Mobile > Get a new phone with T-Mobile > Get $800 and payoff my debt to VerizonWould it be possible?
I understand the need to have the PAH sign off on releasing me from the plan, but i am in a situation that involves domestic violence and have a no contact order in place. There is no way to contact, nor would i like to contact the PAH because of this. Is there a way around the need for permission?
