@wlduck "Why doesn't my T-Mobile Gateway 5G internet modem display my internet phone number?I have the Arcadyan KV21 TM 5G gateway. If I cycle through the gateway's display, my internet phone number is shown there.

@lchasen, my IP address is in Providence, RI, but I’m in Vermont. I find myself having to change my location on store website that by default show store locations in the Providence, RI area. But other than that it’s not a problem for me, since I don’t stream live TV stations.
@oldsniper, at a T-Mobile store they will be able to take back your defective unit and give you a new one on the spot. https://www.t-mobile.com/stores/locator/
Is there a way to read text messages on the Sagemcom gateway on a smart phone or computer ? @Redneck_Randy, I have the Arcadyan KVD21 and the only way to read messages on my gateway is from the gateway’s display.
@Critter24, I don't have a suggestion to solve your issue. Maybe someone else in the community does.Good luck!
@Duc5150, “..when can I expect my first fine..?”You won’t be fined. There simply won’t be a first fine, a second fine, a third fine, ….
@Critter24, can you give a bit more information on what you are trying to do? That would allow the community to better help you. Tks.
@appleam22, “These power grabs are getting out of control.”Less spam? That’s one power grab I think we’re all in favor.
@tnm123, how are you trying to get PBS?
@gramps28, “...that much data through Tmobile Home internet without getting throttled or de-prioritized.”What do you think is the monthly amount of data one can use before getting throttled or de-prioritized by T-Mobile?
@Ashie, “...what device is listed as 33ce”those are the last four digits of the device’s MAC address. For the devices the TMO HI app doesn’t recognize by name it displays “Device (xxxx)”. The MAC address can often be found printed on a sticker affixed to the device.
@papajazz1973, are you using your administrator's password printed on the back of the TMO HI 5 G Gateway?
“Simple solution. Go back to single pane glass windows.” IMHO it will simpler (and cheaper) to keep the double pane windows and have only two bars.
@Hpanda, one cannot access an external hard drive or flash drive connected to the USB-C port on any of the TMO HI 5G gateways. If you have a router connected to your gateway, you would be able to wirelessly access a HDD plugged in the USB port. The USB port on the gateway can be used as a power source (say, for a small fan to cool the gateway).
@magenta10598134, I doubt very much the the email address of the CEO of a major corporation is publicly available.
@CyberXtronic, a range extender is a relatively cheap alternative to a mesh system that might work for you. I’ve had a TP-Link AC1200 for a few years now and I get better Wi-Fi signal in my basement and oudoors (my gateway beeing on the second floor). I don’t do gaming, so I’m not saying it will definitely work for you.https://www.tp-link.com/us/blog/1241/what-is-a-wifi-booster-and-how-to-choose-the-best-one/
@C-141SOLL, can this community help you with something?
@CyberXtronic, another option you might want to consider is a Wi-Fi extender. https://www.tp-link.com/us/wifi-extender/
@SFE7, @tonkagman, the number of bars on the gateway don’t mean very much. They display the strenght of your 4G signal only. What you need to look at are the “Advanced cellular metric” in the “More” tab of the TMO HI app. The metrics for both the LTE and 5G connections are shown. Tapping on each metric will then give you more information on that metric. What are your metrics?
@Daniel Boone, You can connect your TMO HI 5G gateway to a router with an Ethernet cable and connect your devices to the router’s Wi-Fi.
@ida, if I click on the header with my name and internet phone number I get a detailed breakdown of my usage.
@bocaboy2591, ”Unfortunately, it only displays the 4G connection.”Yes, that has been the case with my connection status on the Arcadyan KV21.
For what it’s worth, I doubt very much that T-Mobile (or any other business) would request, as a condition to set up ACH withdrawals, access to to see a Chase Bank (or any other bank) customer’s balances and transactions.
@LWK, just to clarify: when you go in your TMO HI app, under the “DEVICES” tab, do all the devices connected to your network show with the names you’ve given them?
