Ring Doorbell 3 cannot connect to my Tmobile 5G hotspot.

I just got my 5G Mifi Hotspot from Tmobile today and am having the same issue. All other devices including a Ring Flood Light connect, but the Ring Doorbell 3 errors while trying to connect. it flashes the left side lights after trying to connect to the wifi. so it’s not authentication or lack of signal. I’m not sure what the issue is. i’ve tried setting up 2.4 and 5.0 separately. I tried DMZ and assigning an IP to the doorbell. i tried connecting to guest hoping it’s less firewall security. I tried disabling IPV6. I tried assigning channels to both 2.4 and 5.0. Nothing works. I have no issues having the doorbell connect to an ATT hotspot that I have for work without having to configure or change any settings.I’ve made sure both the ring doorbell and tmobile 5G hotspot have latest software installed. Any ideas on what the issue could be? Thanks in advance

LG K7 phone setup keeps showing error message repeatedly, keyboard won't appear, etc? please help!

So I've had this phone since 2016, which might be why it's a bit glitchy aside from the fact that it's quite a sh**tty phone to begin with. Recently I've been running out of storage and there was nothing I could do about it so I decided that I wanted to wipe my phone, reset it so it could work a lot better, and plus I'd have storage space again. I didn't factory reset it though, I backed up my data into my internal storage (yes I know, it serves no purpose if you reset it). So he process didn't take too long, it was successful but then the minute I put my phone back on to type my password in, the keyboard wouldn't appear at all. It does this a lot but usually it comes back once I restart my phone, this time I didn't. No matter how many times I tried. I tried literally ever solution on the internet, like actually using the keys to factory reset my phone (that worked), but not completely because when I tried to set up my phone, an error message that said something had stopped wouldn't st

Friend Referrals

I added my friend as a referral and a few days later, he went to the T-Mobile store and signed up for service, porting his # and AT & T phones over. He showed the T-Mobile associate my name and the associate indicated that yes, he was in my referral area, and signed him up. This was nearly 4 weeks ago. The status has not changed on my referral status screen online. Talking to a rep on chat this morning, they indicated that the status should have changed by now, and obviously the guy didn't use my referral. Oh, but you're wrong, T-Mobile Chat Person. He did use it. And now you're going to deny me my $50 rebate??? I don't think so. Anyone else get their referral rebates without a hitch??? Is it possible that the T-Mobile Associate snagged my referral and used it for himself instead???

Very frustrated with number porting a landline from TWC/Spectrum to T-Mobile Pre-paid

Please help me with a number porting that T-Mobile has not been able to complete even though I've called them over 5x in about 12 days, including two phone calls where both T-Mobile Pre-Paid number porting team and Spectrum customer service were on the call together with me.History:1. Got a T-Mobile prepaid SIM and activated it on a iPhone2. Registered a T-Mobile online account using that information3. Submitted a number porting request using the online tool: - Provided the Spectrum account number which had the format of 202-XXXXXXXXX-001 (202-<nine digit number>-001) - Provided the four digit account PIN that appeared on my Spectrum billing statement - Provided the phone number of the landline currently being provided by Spectrum/TWC4. Called a few days later since no text messages were received on my T-Mobile prepaid account - The temporary number was assigned by the in-store salesman when I purchased the pre-paid SIM - Was transferred to the numb

Need Help! Refund for returned WiFi cellspot router after canceled account.

My husband and I have switched over to Tmobile from Verizon about 2 months ago now. We were told that we would get reimbursed for our final bills up to $650 from our previous carrier, mine was right at that, and his was well under. We submitted every thing and at first we were getting text saying one was denied, so my husband called and got that situated, and we got a confirmation text a month ago with the scheduled amount of payment. Well today he calls because we haven’t received anything and what do you know, they say it was denied. The reimbursement team says the bill was “not legible”. The text I received was the perfect amount of money to total the two of our bills, if they were “not legible”, how was the text the perfect total. The lady that I talked to kept repeating that the pictures need to be in color and legible, and that I should have never got that confirmation text, that it must have been a “system error”. I’ve been with t-mobile and I’ve tolerated everything until now. I have one simple question to ask so decided to used the chat option...20 mins later no one replied...so then I called but then could barely understand what the representative was saying because of their accent and then she had no idea what I was talking about...I ended up hanging up, called back same scenario again. Why even bother having a service if we can’t understand each other? I’m better off speaking to the automated system

RV WIFI system and plans

i recently purchased an RV and have been doing some traveling. I have found that most camp ground have poor WiFi. Speaking to a Winegard rep. And he said that T-Mobile had best plan with unlimited streaming. Anyone use the plan? How does it work and cost. What equipment is required? THanks, Randy

T-Mobile Prepaid Phones - Tax Amount Increased!

I refilled my T-Mobile prepaid (pay as you go - legacy) phone. I added $10 to my phone account which gives me an additional 35 minutes added which will expire in one year for gold members. I used to only pay the NYS tax (8.875%), therefore on a $10 refill, you would think the total with tax should've been $10.89. Something changed, I was charged an additional $1.20, making the tax amount $2.09. The total refill amount paid was $12.09. I had to find out why.After being bounced around by 5 different T-Mobile reps, I managed to speak with a payment supervisor (in U.S.), she (Katie) indicated that there were two additional "flat rate" charges (included in tax) which were added effective 12/1/17. They are as follows: PSCS STATE = $0.90 & LOCAL PREPAID WIRELESS = $.30 .Has anyone else experienced this change in their prepaid tax amount recently? Where is this stated with the amounts listed above on the website? I don't like to be surprised, they should've highlighted all charges

Porting number problem!

I decided to switch from straight talk to T-Mobile prepaid. I paid for a month of service and received a Sim card. I wanted to port port my number from the previous service and T-Mobile said they could. The new sim can make a call but not receive one. Can use data just fine. Cannot send or receive texts or MMS unless it's from T-Mobile. This morning I got a T-Mobile text saying there was a problem porting my number and that they'd call me, however this Sim cannot receive calls. What do I do? I called them and they said they would port it and that my issue was that the PIN I gave them was incorrect. They asked for the correct PIN, but I NEVER made a PIN or provided one. This whole thing is a mess and every call goes exactly the same.

Trade in "Good Condition"?

I am considering the Note 9 trade in promo. It specifically says that the trade in must be in "good condition". I've read some horror stories online about how some other companies handle trade ins (although I've specifically not ever seen anything about TMo's process) so I'm wondering what is considered "good condition"? Can a trade in be taken to a corporate store for a binding assessment of the condition? When I've turned in JOD phones in the past, they basically had to turn on, not be cracked, have no water damage, and not be software locked. Other than that, it was acceptable. Is this the same?

did i submit my switch to keep claim correctly?

I just got T-mobile. I came from spectrum mobile. I joined with the switch and keep promo.I was with spectrum for 90 days, have a iPhone 13, took screenshots of my last 3 bills and my current device payment remaining, paid it off then unlocked the phone, ordered a SIM card then transferred my number to T-Mobile.Went to the keep and switch claim site. I entered my number in that keep and switch box not the carrier freedom claim one. I then picked spectrum, my phone model and it said something on the side about $800. It had me chose EIP or ETF. I picked EIP because I want to be payed the full amount of what was remaining on my spectrum device payment plan. I’m not sure if that’s correct? then I got to the last page and submitted my photo. I combined my 4 pictures into one photo showing the 3 statements and my device balance before paying and unlocking it as told. However on the side it said the maximum I would get back for the offer is $650. That is incorrect as the current offer is $800
